How HouseMade works
Traditional portals ask you to search. HouseMade asks you to state what you want, once, and puts that in front of the people holding the property.
Write one brief
Budget, area, bedrooms, when you want to move, how your finance stands, and the things a search box has no field for. Like whether you would take on a renovation.
Agents answer it
Your brief reaches agents holding matching stock. That includes property not yet advertised, which is the part you cannot reach by searching a portal.
You choose who gets in touch
Register interest in what you like. The agent receives your brief with it, so you never restate your budget or your timeline.
Nothing is paid placement
What you see is what matched. No listing appears because somebody paid for it to.
The data behind a match
A brief only works if the listings carry enough truth to match against. So every home here does:
- Photographs, read. AI reads every listing’s photos. Condition, gardens, parking, kitchens, era, and each claim keeps the photo it was seen in.
- Floor areas, measured. The floorplan’s own printed total area. Never an estimate. Gives real £ per sq ft.
- Every postcode’s numbers. Live gross yield, price growth and crime figures, ranked against neighbouring postcodes.
- Your places, timed. Walk and drive times to the nearest primary school, station, supermarket and park, and to wherever you actually go.
- Running costs. Council tax bands, flood risk and broadband speeds where recorded, with EPC and full sold-price history rolling out.
- Your own words, kept. “Near a good school”, “no main roads”, sorted into must-haves and dealbreakers, and read by agents exactly as you wrote them.
